Chicago Framed Downtown Skyline Panorama

Chicago Framed Downtown Skyline Panorama

This panorama of Chicago was taken by James Blakeway. It features a stunning twilight view of downtown Chicago, the center of the third largest metropolitan area in the United States. The three tallest buildings are, from left to right, John Hancock Center in the distant left, the Trump International Hotel and Tower in the center of the picture, and Willis Tower with its pronounced twin antenna (formerly named and still commonly referred to as the Sears Tower). Chicago’s skyline is considered one of the world’s most impressive, along with New York City and Hong Kong. Chicago is a major port and the industrial, commercial, financial, and cultural center of the Midwest.
